Not to hijack this thread, but since it was talked about earlier, the Pilot spacer finally got delivered today, and I am guessing I will have time to get it installed on Saturday and hopefully will also be able to close my hood afterwards. Pictures will follow in a new thread.

CleanCL - the spacer ends up being 1.5 inches thick, it should be close.

I got my boomslang harness in today, so everything is a go for tomorrow!

Camera Phone Pic: I am going to be using my half bros camera tomorrow, since mine is acting up, so no worries.

Looking foward to this, can't wait to see what it does even though 1.5" is way too much for me and it would never fit right. Any updates on the plenum chambers?

Change of plans. CleanCL told me about this yesterday since he got his a little quicker than I did. The Pilot spacer needs a little modifying in order for it to work. The runners are smaller than what is on the J32A2, and the EGR port is a completely different shape. The runners are going to need be bored a little to match up with the type-s manifold. I am still planning on taking the manifold off to see how much it neds to be bored and get it to King Motorsports, but it definitely won't be put on this weekend. Once it does get put on, because of the two different shape EGR ports, it could throw codes and then it will be coming out.

Yeah for sure, I'm happy .

I was stuck in traffic on almost the whole way home! Near my house I was stuck behind a guy in a grand marquis, and he was going 30 in a 45 w/ absolutely no one infront of him and of course it was one lane in each direction. I did get to floor it pass him and man the car took off nice!

I am going to post pictures, videos and information as soon as my photobucket decides to upload my videos.

Did you happen to do a dyno run after putting the plenums on, but before the tune, just to see how much they added by only putting them on??? Either way those are some nice gains. Thanks for the update!!! Also nice work PowerRev

Yes we did. Horsepower increased about 8hp, and torque 13lbft, before tune.

The last video just goes to show how much movement is in our motor mounts (and how much better motor mounts could help)

It is a great addition to I/H/P and the TQ gains from the plenums with those mods are definitely worth it.

As I mentioned in TCM's dyno numbers thread I would like to see an install of these after the car is tuned and then retuned otherwise a good portion to these gains is just the NEO i'd say maybe half.

Just playing devils advocate and putting some of this matter into perspective.

ill be doing a before dyno without tune, and after dyno without tune. i think these will be the most realistic gains because chances are most people buying these either won't have tuning ability available or won't want to. i think these will be fine without a tune and should still show a 10lb/tq across the board. also i think these would be even more beneficial with a ported intake and TB.

You guys are getting alittle confused. We did not really do any tuning on his car. We installed the NEO before putting the Plenums on. We did the first dyno pull. Then we installed the plenums, and first pull after plenums was more than 8 hp, without any tune. I didnt do much a tune on his car, as the air/fuel was pretty good. We then lowered the Vtec a little, and seen the 12 hp gain, but before any tuning, car made between 8-10 HP.

Still interested in pre-Neo gains first and foremost, but nice numbers nonetheless, esp. torque which was most important to me.

I mentioned them above: about 8whp and about 13lbft before the Neo was touched.

Thanks for the elaboration PowerRev, so when you gained 12hp by lowering VTEC I take it that increase was seen before the stock 4800rpm crossover point like around 4K maybe?
