Very sorry to disapoint you but....

I had my neo installed/dyno tuned and it reset twice just like everyone said it would. I only had it hooked up for 4 days to. gc86 had better luck with his but his just acted up to. Maybe its the way you wire it. I dont think accord----- has had that problem.

Cant wait to see results of before and after CleanCL.

Most the people on here. They said the ECU learns what changes you made to it using the neo and it would reset. There is at least 10 threads I searched before I bought It that say it. But I thought what the hell, if it does Ill sell it. And it did. So the Dyno tuning I did do with it twice reset itself, and so I yanked.

3 of my buddies also have the A'PEXi Neo (2 Honda's, 1 Acura) and have had them for several months with no issues. All of them are using the Boomslang harnesses, so it could be related to wiring.

Hmm, weird. Does anyone know if the Neo alters the fuel maps before it goes to the ECU or does it take the readings from the ECU and then applies it's calculations to make the necessary changes? If it's the latter, that would explain the ECU reverting back to the stock maps. Not sure if the Boomslang is wired in such a way to bypass this I guess I'll ask my friends that own it.

edit: sorry for the highjack...back on topic now.

Yeah i've thought about that whole cowl induction thing but my car isn't supposed to draw attention like that, kind of defeats the point of my sleeper sedan if the hood is proped up like that, that, or it just looks cheap like the body shop messed up.

Just PM PowerRev and ask what colors. He told me they were going to make them black a few weeks ago.

^^ I agree that looks really cheap, not how a CL/TL is supposed to look. If the Pilot spacer CLeanCL and I bought won't fit our cars, I don't know about him, but I will just take the spacer out until I can find a better solution to making it fit.

It's the color I'm getting! Sean @ P2R gave me two options at the time when I called him, black being one of them.

I've just learned of this mod. Excuse my ignorance, but in essence does this mod take off where the Outlaw Engineering thermoblock spacer left off? As in, the material it's made with will also reduce the transfer of heat, but will also increase the volume of air in the intake manifold? Correct me, if I'm wrong.

well it is a sedan =X

but i see no reason this shouldn't fit under the hood of an accord... even with the j32 swap.. the only real difference is everything internal.. actually the blocks are almost identical.

I cant drive it without a hood,it looks ghetto, I need a hatch bad! yeah those spacers do look pretty bad and anyone that knows anything about swaps will know whats going on under the hood,I want the cr-x low pro because if word gets around about the k its almost a certain to be targeted for theft... anyone wanna buy it as is? $8300?? 12 sec 1/4 times... im done dealing with it

Have you tried cutting your hood supports? it will make the middle of the hood flimsier but nothing aestethically bad, unless while cutting the supports you dent the hood from underneath like me leaving a scar on the other side

I just got tired of the IM cover plate rubbing on the hood supports with no spacer in there. So I just said f'it and cut the middle ones out. Not sure how much space I have left but its not much.

The IM is much taller hence the problem, its the stuff on the engine that gives us the height problem

Yeah its a semi-sleeper, when I drive it people now its a stick and what not but it has such an OEM appeal to it with a pretty much stock interior and exterior.

i still think P2Rs plenums might fit... judging from their pictures, they didn't increase in height, the stock plenum cover is still the highest point... unless you were talking about the spacer.

PowerRev - question... one thing i noticed after i sent my intake manifold to extrude hone.. the plenum gaskets were restricting inside... i used a dremel to trim the metal gasket to create a flush space inside the plenum... does this matter at all?

I was refering to the spacer, but now that you mention it the fact that the plenum chambers from P2R extend out a little further, it could hit the inside of the sloped hood, at least for me, not sure but its possible.
