FYI I made the most power with a tuned AFR of 13.2:1. However it was impossible to lean things out between 5,700-6,200 RPM. AFR dropped to 12.8:1 at 6,000 RPM but came back up to 13.2:1 at 6,200 RPM.

this looks like a good deal. I got a bunch of mods done to my car which I'm sure I'd see larger gains than a stock engine would.

I already have been selling their products. This plenum is still in the testing stage so once we confirm gains and costs then I will put up pricing.

I can't believe I missed this thread. I am interested, especially to know how much gains would be made with I/H/E already installed.

if there are gains and the price is decent ill be on it. any rought date of when it might possibly be done with the testing and available. just a rough date as in spring, summer or what ever, donesnt have to be an actual day or month.

i sure hope that it will produce reasonable gains

I didn't get the chance to install the AFC on my car yet, to see how much more HP i can pull out of the plenums yet. Remember so far we have seen basically 6hp by just bolting them on. There is more HP to be made with a lil tuning. I will surly install the afc and get it dynoed before weekend. Getting car on dyno is not an issue as we have a dyno In-house. I just need to install the AFC. I just have to download a wiring diagram for the car i guess.

Also remember I dont have a Header or exhaust on my car. I only have intake mods. So gains should be better with someone who has exhaust work. Also if there is anyone in South Florida area. We dont mind putting your car on the dyno to see gains also.

I am in South Florida and willing to help any way I can. I have a CL-P but have a Type-S intake manifold and TB, headers, exhaust, thermoblock spacers and a unichip. Your shop might actually be the shop they were going to do my unichip custom tune at. The number i called was for miami but they said the dyno was at a shop in FTL.

This makes me want to ditch the SC and stay NA just for the cool NA factor
I cant beleive neversummer is running (2) IM spacers :p! How does it compare to just one?

Any plans on making more 80mm TB's?
Asked you this before on but how does your 1/8" IM spacer compare to Outlaws 1/4" spacer?
Will those plenum tanks come polished, minus the logo as well?

Would I be correct to assume the factory covers would NOT fit over these??

My 1/8" thermal gasket is nothing like the outlaw spacer. What outlaw sells is a spacer. What I sell is a thermal gasket. The thermal gasket keeps the intake manifold cooler, by not transferring the direct connection heat from the lower runners or cylinder head to the plenum. The thermal gasket when put in a oven at 450 degrees. All metal in oven is 450, but thermal gasket is around 350. Our gasket stays cooler than metal, so it really helps heat soak.

"Power Rev Racing intake gaskets will help reduce intake air temperatures by removing the direct connection of the intake manifold to the cylinder head. Made out of our proprietary heat dissipating material the P2R thermal intake gasket creates a thermal barrier that isolates power-robbing heat from traveling to your intake manifold through the cylinder head. Less heat soak means cooler air and more consistent power delivery."

No you will not be able to retain the factory cover. But all vacuum lines and intake air temp sensor plugs right back in like stock. No modifications required.

I should also have the AFC wired up today. So expect to see some graphs by monday night.

So it makes me wonder what it would be like with the thermoblock and your spacer...

No worries, we have more thermal intake gaskets coming out. For just about any application you can possibly think of. Also, I am not exactly sure how the 99 tl intake looks like but I put 03 CL-S complete intake on a 98 Accord. Everything bolted right up, except Accord ports were really small on head, so I had to port the head.

artbran
I am not sure how good that will turn out, but my plenums sit really close to the hood, so I am not sure if there will be clearance issues when you thermoblock spacer, P2R thermal intake gasket, adn then plenums. You might have to use either spacer or p2r gasket, if trying to run the Plenums.

I'm up for anything really. I'll buy the plenums and spacer to try them out to see what can be done and so on. I'm planning boost for next year but in the meantime, I want to get as much power N/A as possible.

So like everyone is saying, show us the gains and you will have orders...

Really sorry I have not got the dyno done yet. I been having a little trouble with the VAFC. For some reason everytime I "T" into the MAP sensor, the car starts acting funny.
