Outlaw Engineering Spacers Installed Pics Inside

So i got my spacers a few weeks ago and finally decided to install them today so here are some random pics, let me know what you think.. and i changed my sparkplugs as well in the process so roughly everything took about 4 hours without rushing anywhere.

Here is when i started taking shit off haha

THis is the 2nd time i am tkaing this off and its discusting the 1st time i took it off i got this black shit all over the place, i seafoamed it and it all came off but it was like got few shot glasses of black sand

OLD STUFF

Here is one hose to disconnect

Here is another one

Just pluged the hoses with the screws that i got out when disasembling evething works great

Random

Random

Finished product

I know its not really clear what i did step by step, but its not meant to do that really, basically its just a few things have to be unscrewed and some hoses disconnected and tahts about it, evething worked out pretty well.
By the way seafoam is great, i put that stuff in oil last week and got the oil changed, put it in gas, and today i just put a lil bit in each cylinder. it took me a few minutes to start up the car after that but it did and now hopefully it will perform a lil better.

Wow that's a lot of corrosion you got there.
Looks like my 12 year old engine on my Explorer.

Must be a Northeast daily driver... the winters up here are terrible on cars (salt on the roads).

That's what I was thinking. I forget how fortunate we are in CA as far as corrosion goes.

hey guys, thanks for the responses, I am from new york and what you see in pics (corrosion) is nothing comparing to what it was when i took it apart the first time. it was a real nightmare i could just image the stuff that goes on inside the engine.

btw greenmonster thanks for the fix up. so i just got back after driving around 100 miles after the installation, and i see a big difference in performance but i cannot say that it is because of the spacers. i changed my sparkplugs and i did a seafoam treatment(through the intake) which i think was really what made a difference. the car pulls much easier and drives smoother.
AND also i would like to ask you guys if anybody have this same problem taht i have. for some reason when the engine reaches normal temperature and i have my hood open and give it some gas i hear this ugly sounding boiling sound. it sounds like its coming from the back of the engine but sort of on top, and its like clanking kinda noice but more like "water boiling" sound. i dont know if that makes sense but thats what it is. if anybody knows what that could be it woulld be interesting to know. and ive had this since i got the car which is about 35k miles ago.

I do notice a slight hiss with mine, but of course I have cheap headers that could be the culprit. With TB spacers I just noticed it was more responsive when you hit the gas. It wasn't like "wow I can really feel the ponies!" while driving. The gains I feel from it are more like if you installed cheap spark plugs. You feel that it's done something, but it the gains are so small you barely notice.

Well I saw zero difference in the spacers on my car. At least nothing that I could detect. The IM is just has hot as it was before, & my car is still slugish when it's 90 & humid.

ok so i just got back from the gym and decided to leave my car running while i open up the hood for fun. so to my surprise i notice something very dramatic. before the whole intake system, the plenum used to be pretty hot after driving, but now to my surprise it wasnt at all, maybe i wasnt driving hard enough. it was pretty cool actually, before i wasnt able to keep my hands on for a long time, now i can put my naked ass on it and it wont get hot. so thats the latest, if i come to realize i was wrong ill let you all know.

In the summer, the spacers do little to nothing. I noticed that in the winter my upper IM is cool to the touch but fairly hot in the summer.
