Just telling my racing story

 

there wasnt really a story involved here... just a statement... write the whole story, im sure we would all love to hear exactly what happened.

Crusing along in 4th gear @50 mph, Blue CL-Stype pulls up next to me, looking at me passing me, slowing down, continuously for a half mile. I dropped it into 3rd and saw the Honda nowhere to be found

As the article says, the speeds of the 2 cars when it comes to 0-60 and the 1/4 mile are about identical. Where the CL out performs ithe BMW is at highway speeds. It should....it almost has 40 more horses.

By the way, to bad you don't live in AZ.....I would like you to try and pass me.....

#1 most of us paid between 28500 and 31000 not 34k
#2 you got a great deal for only 38k on that car, i kinda find it hard to believe
#3 you pay out your ASS for service, we dont
#4 good luck beating a 6spd!! a auto may be close but definetly not at 70+mph... vtec baby... 3rd gear @ 4000rpms or so

Even so, the cls guy must have stayed in 4th gear or something. There is no way that a cls in 2nd gear or 3rd at 50 could lose that bad to a 330. I raced plenty of 330ci and have not lost once. Highway or off the line neither mt/auto. But then again, you don't know what the cls driver was doing/thinking. Good kill never the less!

 

So what stopped you from buying the fast BMW?

Stop being an ass here. The CLS and TLS are nice cars and I have whooped your beloved 330. Since I own the CLS I felt the 330 was not enough of a jump up of a car, I ordered the M3. Note I say I did NOT consider the 330 because it's performance was too close to the CLS and TLS so let that be an indication of how I feel about your trash talking. Your car is barely faster in stick form.

Not being an ass at all, my best friend has a TLS and I do infact like the cars I never said I didnt like it, i was just tellin you my story that i indeed toasted a CL-S I dont know how much skill it takes to just step on the gas pedal. But on this day my 330Ci was faster then this individuals CLS.. Have a great day and everybody please drive safely

We have no problems with people from other forums coming in and participating... you just went about it like a 16 y/o driving mommy and daddy's BMW. If you beat a CL-S, fine, but no need to come in here, with a title like that, talking shit when out of 10 races with a CL-S you'd lose at least half... if not more. That's all these guys are saying...

Have had the pleasure of meeting up with 3 or 4 of them. They have been weighed, they have been measured, and they have been found wanting!!! LOL. So far they are 0 for 3-4.

 

Someone want's to race you 330 guy!!! Step-up with the challenge or you getting a lil chicken?

 

I think the 330ci is a great car and stock for stock a better overall performer than a cl type s if you want to pay more money. I know for a fact though you can't blow the doors off 3.2 cl type s especially a 6-speed it will be a close race.

Show some more class, and act accordingly, your giving us BMW owners a bad image. You can post a kill in a more discrete manner and get your kill accepted.
