Mobile 1, with Mobile 1 filter (but will probably change to STP filter as there doesn't seem to be a superior oil filter around, except for the Honda filter that is in Japan but you can't get here). IMHO

Mobil 1 is great stuff but Red Line oil is the absolute best (IMO). Since I've only got 3300 miles, I haven't switched yet. It's about twice the cost of Mobil 1 so I don't know if I'll use it at every oil change but it's very good stuff.

It was the only oil I used in my other car that I actually noticed a difference (albeit small) in performance. The engine just seemed to rev easier and seemed a little stronger. Not scientific proof, I realize, but I'm sold on it.

I saw in a magazine ad that K&N now makes oil filters. I don't know how good they are but if they are as good as their air filters then they will make a butt load off of them.

I say around 3500 miles......in other words the manual interval states 3750 miles.

Mobil 1 and Honda filter. A buddy of mine is a Porsche/Mercedes mechanic and says that Mobil 1 is overkill unless you race a lot. But...that's what he uses in his personal cars.
p.s. tinman- I didn't know anyone was still around that could quote Laurie Anderson. Cool.

Hehee, yeah I read that quote from her several years ago in Wired and it always stuck with me. Complete opposite of that line from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"- "Wherever you're at, that's the place to be!" or whatever it was.

Don't anyone change your oil at 1000 miles. 3500 is good for the first one. I'd say 5000 is better cause it's the "break in" oil. Ya ya, I know there is debate on this, but most of you are wasting your money changing every 3000 miles, especially those of you with Mobil 1 or other synthetic.

Yeah, I changed mine at 5K miles, as recommended by the dealer.
