Tan on woodgrain does not fit a manual transmission unless its a classy sports coupe. I have a 2000TL with tan interior, and I will tell you what, those seats get sooo shitty looking after you rack up some miles on the car.

haha yes very lame post indeed, i was just very happy about my 6sp w/navi and thought i would share that with you all...

The woodgrain is factory along with the tan interior.... im not sure which looks worse, fake woodgrain, or fake aluminum...

yes there is some dust and crap on there too... sorry had not cleaned it after an 8 hr road trip.

Anywho. to make the thread so non pointless...

WHO HATES THE DEALERSHIP?

working on my 6th trip... they cant seem to figure out some simple noise that is coming from my drivetrain every time i release the clutch... like a sticking / clicking noise....

almost sounds like grease popping but they cant figure it out... they call me and say they cant hear it but i come in and sure enough its still there... any other 6MT owners notice this?

I have the same noise, i determined the problem, my upper ball joint/bushing is torn and leaking oil or grease, do it make a clicking noise when you turn the wheel all the way? Also mine makes a noise when you press down on that side like you testing for a blown strut, my noise is almost like broken springs on a matress, if so look right under the strut most likely its the upper ball joint, everytime pressure is applied it makes noise.

Yeah, I can imagine that... I always wanted a red sports car with tan interior, so when I bought the CLS that's the color I went with...

Now that I've BTDT with the SMR/parchment, I'm looking to go with with black or blue with an ebony interior next time...

I hate tan interior. But I am jealous about you having a stick, and navi, a-hole.

Hmmm...

I just thought his :ghey: ass was trying to show off because he doesn't have the heat on...

Noise when releasing the clutch... (not sure about this car) possibly a throw out bearing???

pimpinest interior ever... AUDI!!!!!!!

i have been blessed with many cars, but hands down best interior/exterior color combo is as follows...

1998 Audi A6 White with Navy Blue Leather Interior with heated seats that have a dial 1-8, none of this high or low crap... It was the kind of car you can just sit in and marvel at for hours...BTW Audi Concert Bose surround sound stereo shits on the Bose in my '03 CLS... Audis are the best cars out there reliability issues notwithstanding... mostly because I'm an interior guy... BMW/Mercedes interiors pale in comparison to Audi...
