man.. you should have done a bit more research on OBX before you installed then uninstalled, and took the lose on selling the CT headers.. since OBX does not make one for the six speed.

I agree with matt.. this does not make sense.. you are not telling the whole story..

it had nothing to do whether or not the OBX fit or not, that doesn't make a difference to me. i was kinda annoyed by the whole situation between VR, Comptech and Modern Speed and Performance, and figured since i wasn't getting the SC anymore just get rid of everything.

the headers didn't seem to really do anything for the car which is why i rather get the cheap ones instead of paying 1000 bucks for something that does very little

I will never again buy anything made by OBX. Ceramic coated headers became unceramic w/in 1 month of purchase. YEah yeah I know, what do you expect but still, you don't expect them to go THAT fast!

You did…UM….install them on the….UM….engine right ???

But seriously….
If you didn’t notice an improvement with the Comptech ones on there, I would say don’t waste any more money on headers. Stick with stock.

You did push the RPM’s right?

They don’t really do much below 4,000 RPM and the biggest benefit is the 5,000-7,000 range.
I bounced off the rev limiter a few times when I first installed mine because it revved faster then I was used to.

its a good thing your SC order got screwed up because you probably won't have noticed anything with that either

Maybe you should strap a jet engine to the trunk so you can get the kind of boost your expecting

I think that topic has been beaten to death.. I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible myself.

Back to topic.

rbf351,

When you say you didn't notice much.. what exactly are you comparing to? And did you even take to time to drive the car without header, then with header?

ps.. Never listen to what your girlfriend says! Especially about CARS!

Don't know why you didn't notice a difference. Next time im in SI with my CLS, you should take a ride in my car. You will notice a difference.

6 speed headers you only have 1 optinion right now Comtech

Stone is working on a 6 speed version
No word weather OBX is going to make a 6 speed version.

I guess your stuck at stock now.
