Noisy valves?

I've used this product before on my other cars and I figured I would give it a try on the CL. It is called Valve Medic by Gunk. We all know our noisy valves. I used this in conjunction with STP Fuel Cleaner. I noticed better mileage and the car revs a lot more freely and has quieted down the lifter noise. I suggest trying it.

Yeah. What would a noisy valve sound like?

All I hear is my AEM hissing.

I've got a slight valve tick at idle. kinda sounds like my car is a really quiet diesel. kind of annoying, but oh well. I'll give this a shot. I didn't wanna pay the $400 the dealership wanted for a valve adjustment.

CleanCL - How did this product work out for you? Did it make the valves considerably quieter?

Anyone else use this?

The "gunk in a can" will not take up the excess space between the lifter and the valve. It works on cars with hydraulic lifters that are getting gummed up or worn.

Won't do a thing for a car like the Acura that is mechanical and needs a clearance adjustment.

Save your money.

Not likely. Some have been able to get it covered, but if your over 30K miles chances are dimished.
