No vtec after misfire fix
No vtec after misfire fix
need some help please.
I have a 2003 Acura cl type s 6 speed. It has 206,000 miles and drives great except for the no vtec at the moment. so I had a misfire code come up via the cel. Did some research and checked the gasket on top of the motor to be upside/backwards covering the egr ports. Mind you I had vtec engagement prior to the switch. I did the simple thing and checked the oil first. Now I hope someone could point me in the direction so I can experience vtec again

pull your clock fuse from passenger fuse panel, let sit for like 10 mins, reinsert, start car and let idle until cooling fans come on. should reset ecu.
that's where i would start at least.
