nightshades removal
i have a pair of 01 taillights that currently have nightshade tint sprayed on it. i was wondering what would be the safest way to remove it so that i can redo the tint. paint thinner? or should i just wetsand down the existing coat? reason i'm asking is cuz there are some pretty big scratches on the paint.
speaking of wetsanding, exactly how do you go about doing this? i searched but there weren't any detailed instructions. do u just spray on water and sand it down? thanks in advance.

ive tinted my tails before with tint spray. do not sand them your gonna end up scratching the lenses. nail polish remover worked the best, but it will take a while. paint thinner was not as effective. hope this helps.

here let me help you out...get some nail polish remover. put some on a towel or a rag or whatever. just try rubbing it on a small corner and see what happens. you will thank me later.
