I never lost any power with the RT cat in fact gained a good amount from my butt dyno, however thats coming from a stock Accord cat thats more restrictive then the CLS cat. The RT cat did however give a horrible rasp at ~2500rpm, just for a short time and the rest of the powerband was good but you can imagine how it can get worse especially with no resonators and straight through mufflers. The rasp was Civic bad.

honestly the RT cat didn't add any noise on my CL...the only time my exhaust made noise is when I upped the diameter of the cat back...adding a high flow resonator and magnaflow mufflers.

Good thread guys, this is a good read. I would think a test pipe, and one of the biggest resonators you could fit under the car would be the best setup.
