New to the site

Glad I finally found a site for the 2nd gen CL. Hey everybody, currently i drive a 5th gen prelude..the one with the h22 vtec engine. ok ok. its a 4 cylinder, but im looking at steppin up somewhat to a 01-03ish cl. (2nd Gen)
I was wondering, does anyone have any pics of these stock headlights on the road? I know they dont come with projectors stock, but something like a stock xenon bulb or something. am i right?
also, the prelude is an extremely nimble car that handles extremely well in manys opinion. does the cl handle very well for being a midsized car? anybody with info on this. by all means. the cl has all the bells and whistles i could want plus 260ish hp stock on the cl-s....

Welcome to forum...

Read this: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139370 It'll have all the info on the headlights (and quite a bit more)....

also read this: http://www.geocities.com/gamesmgr/chod/acura/

and read this: https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-clubs-meets-15/chicago-cruisin-66-car-show-invite-181322/

those links should cover just about everything there is to know about the CL, and what ever is left out can probably be found by search the forums here (or asking).

The Prelude is a sweet car. Just a couple weeks ago I was looking at one for sale, too bad it was an auto. It would have made a great little run around car to compliment my Jeep.

The CL will not be as nimble as the Prelude. However, the CL is a decent handling car straight out of the box, it just suffers from size and weight (EDIT: and FWD). It's quite frankly, a boat. A big "Tuna Boat" to be exact.

Welcome to the forum! A lot of good people and great information here.

With tires and upgraded sway bars plus a drop you'll be able to hang with just about anything out there.

Hey welcome. I am a previous owner of a Prelude SH and the cl does not come close to being as nimble as the lude. I am very satisfied with my Cl 6speed . I will be greatly considering springs, prob neuspeed sport.

You mention getting an 01-03 CL... I'm sure you noticed the dedicated automatic transmission forum. I noticed it too before I bought my 6spd...

Other then the auto tranny issues, the CL is pretty bullet proof... any of the minor issues (warped rotors, etc) should have been taken care of under warranty.

Welcome to the forum. Just upgading the swaybar will improve the handling significantly over stock. Then of course everything else will help even more.
