hey wassup guys im about to pick up a 2004 rl w/ navi the only thing im concerned about is the mileage it has about 204000 the rl side is dead so im trying to see if its a good buy or should i pass since theres more activity here. they seem to be a really strongly built car but ive never dealt with a c35. im still keeping the cl just incase you guys are wondering. pictures will follow as soon as i get the car.

 

I guess make sure all the electronics work and the tranny is still good.

 

did you drive the rl already ? you gotta make sure its shifting strong..

 

its down in san diego and im suppose to pick it up on friday hopefully the car still runs great. i can do all the motor work on the car since ive worked on a legend before i just dont know if its known for a certain problem which i dont think so just wanted to check with you guys first. can you say AIMGAIN

 

ask for maintance records. check for leaks, and check the suspension components. Wouldnt hurt to get compression test done and make sure the second 105k service is done too

 

the old 04 is the older rl's.... dont like the style....kind of boxy

hahha i was thinking of getting another 2nd gen tl and doing the tranny swap still thinking cant decide between the two but my calipers came in the mail

 

i didnt get the rl so today i bidded on a 04 tsx and won the bid lets see if he's trying to sell it. trying to keep it in the acura family less headaches.
