well any ways theres these cool features like showing the yaw rate and the cool thing is I was swering left and right and saw the yaw rate change. Also there is a menue that shows how many sattiltess you linking up to and there positions. You can also change the color settings and all this other stuff.

You can change all the colors of the screen. Like the background, what color streets are, color of hospitals, etc... I screwed around with mine and changed the background color for when the lights are out, I think it was Base 0. I dont know what the settings are now but I changed it to a kind of medium light gray. Actually if anyone has the factory settings I'd like to check out what it was before I screwed around.

I just tried it today and it definitely works. However it's a little tricky. I pressed all of them and held them down for a few seconds. Then it went to the special menu but it didn't work every time. Just try pressing it in this sequence 1)menu 2 map 3)cancel with very little time in between. Another glitch i noticed though. I set the colors to the way I wanted them to be but it didn't save them. When I restarted the car, it was back to the regular default colors. Anyone know how to permanently change the colors.
well I've pushed the force download button b4 and yes.. i was sweatingly nervous when i did it. It looks like the same download screen when you put in a new rev of the nav dvd... it has a horizontal bar of dots and seems to download data from the dvd to the nav system. It has the same "do not power off car" notice as well.
I don't reccomend pressing it tho as the helm does specifically specifiy not to. (which is why I did it)

These aren't new features. They are forbidden features. Why risk changing setting that are only going to give you a thrill for about a day or so?
I can see it if you turn on the "track history" toggle or you enable the "icon callout bubble", but colours?

try holding it down for about 5 seconds . it will work trust me. Also I wouldn't reccommend changing any settings just look around.

bringing this thread back, but i got in and i changed the colors but when i did change the colors it didnt save them, what is the step by step way to change the colors for the background and so forth?
This was useful info for me actually. Some background on my situation:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...9&page=1&pp=25
Using the diag I was able to determine that the GPS system IS working. It showed a latitude and longitude that when I looked it up online was the exact location of my car in the garage. The time is still acting up, displaying 4 hours ahead now after daylight savings time arrived. Using the System Link button, all sectors showed connected and green in color - from the GPS, to navi ECU, to A/C, to antenna, etc.
I have tested using a more recent nav DVD and that didn't fix the problem. I really need to find someone who will let me test out their navi unit in my car to determine if that's the problem

So you've had it since last year, and it still isn't working right? That sucks. I feel for you. I had this A/V system in my car for 3 weeks, and didn't work. I learned how to beat-box though!
