(NEW) Comptech Exhaust! (Smell)

I just installed my Comptech Exhaust. And after it has been running there is a smell from the exhaust. Is this normal? Did this happen to any of you? Is it just because it is NEW? If so when will it go away?(How long?)

Thanks

Totally normal. It will go away in a day or two. Congratulations on your new exhaust. How do you like it?

Good job, Jim. Now, just stop toking on the tailpipe and the smell will go away.

Seriously, I don't remember any unusual exhaust smell (or otherwise) when I put mine on. Maybe you just need a high-speed burn-in run...

Hey q2killer...So I see you received the Exhaust..Cool!!! Do you like it?? Did you feel any performance gain? (remeber I put the headers and exhaust at the same time) so I didn't get to see if there was a true performance gain.. Did you like the sound that came out of it?

I was getting P/O'd that UPS didn't enter that tracking number as quick as they were suppose too..but I'm glad everything worked out..

Enjoy the Exhaust..
