Neutral switch in the Cl

I wud like to know if our cars have a neutral switch that can be tapped into frm the manual transmission or the shifter.
I am asking this becos, I want to install a automatic remote start on a manual.

I know it will work , I also know i cud get brands like compustar that have a pre set routine 4 it to wrk. But what i want to know is if there is a neutral switch or similar to output the needed signal.

just trying to make it start safe & i do NOT park on a hill and if i do then it will def be in gear hence (it wont start if I try to remote start)

do you know why no one's answering you? because it's illegal and dangerous.

Of course, it's at the top of the clutch pedal. However, I strongly recommend against it.

Exactly why most shops won't do it for you but they will show you how to do it yourself.

the nuetral safety switch is generally a neg trigger. i used a two wire switch. one to ground and one to the "nuetral safety" wire on the alarm. everytime i do not want the car to start by remote i flip the switch and the remote starter is completely dead. usually do it for valet and when i have it in gear.

Thanks for d info.
what i was trying to do is set the car to start only when this 2 are present
(the car is in neutral= neg -ve signal frm neutral switch +
(hand brake signal activated) E brake signal

i dont know why it is illegal , to be honest its no different than installing a compustar starter in my opinion. The only diff is one is preventive and the other is detective.
