Need help with edfc motor kit

So i bought tein comfort sport coilovers the GOLD ones..

which are cf6 struts.

now I want edfc but I do not know what motor kit will work with them.. I have a kit online I wanna buy and it comes with the EDK05-12120

tein has only one listed for a different coilover but it's for the CL and it's EDK05-12120 as well.

http://www.tein.com/tech_info/h94-ya4.html

can someone please shed some light on what one i need.

PLEASE and thank you

I only know tein coilovers as Basic and SS. SS are adjustable dampening with the EDFC unit. As far as i know the basics are well...basic. You can't just add an edfc to them and adjust the stiffness. I had the basics and i don't know how you would wire something up to adjust their stiffness.

if it has adjustable dampening at the top where u turn that little knob that's all u need. the edfc is linked to 4 separate motors.... one on each of the top of the adjuster screws. the motor is an alen key slot that just sits right in the adjuster screw and screw on to the threads of the top of the shock.

i think u need the pillowball mounts in order for it to work.

I need to know the motor application tho.. if anyone knows ?

Pics of coilovers? Just curious since Tein doesnt make the Comfort Sport series for our car, or any Accord.

actually they do make them for our cars... just have to order them from japan. they are called cf7 coilovers now instead of cf6 like mine is.

the guy also said u can put EDFC on most teins as long as you have the upper pillowball mount, and the correct motors and edfc unit.

I will get pictures of them soon tho.

Oh, I see. Its the Euro Accord (CL6/7). I read it as some sort of part identifier for Tein, not the chassis code for the Accord.

Did you buy it from someone that used it on an Accord/CL/TL here in NA?

i bought it off a guy who had them installed on a tl out here in canada, for 800 with like 10000kms on it at most... they look virtually mint. with the exception of the odd imperfection here and there.

Also since I am piecing together a front and rear camber kit I need to know if I have all the correct parts.

What do I need to adjust the camber in the rear.?

I bought these
http://cgi.ebay.ca/REAR-CAMBER-KIT-9...item5d2d15a8f6

but I was doing some reading in the suspension section and it says I need ingalls smart arms as well? is this tru? do I have to spend another 200$$!!!???

300 for the arms, 100 for the wicked tuning camber kit, 800 for coilovers, and now this??

and here I thought this was going to be inexpensive after scoring those coilovers

You already have the rear adjustable arms, thats all you need for the rear. Its one or the other. Personally, I prefer the Ingalls SmartArms because they dont have a ball joint in them. If the ball joint on the aftermarket kits needs to be replaced, you need to rely on that company to sell you a new one.

what about the toe and caster??? do those need adjusting?

cause what I have only does the camber and not the toe.. correct?

so do i still need to buy the arms then to make everything perfect?

The SmartArms can adjust toe. If they cant get the toe back into spec in the rear (its a small adjustment window on the stock parts) then your best bet is the Ingalls arms. I doubt your toe will be out though.

well there is spec and then there is perfect... perfect is what I want... and it seems I don't need the wicked tuning arms I bought anymore... :-(

maybe I should just put it on anyways so it looks cool?? or should I sell them?
