Is there any way to have the gear-indicator remain on when NOT in SportShift mode? I'd like to know what gear my car is in..

Why not? .. Agreed it's pointless, but I think it'd look neat..

Any thoughts?

 

all i do is switch into sportshift whenever i want to see for sure. im normally able to tell just by throttle response and the how high the car is revin at a certain speed. not a bad idea, but i wouldent pay money for it.

 

exactly.. i know i can switch to ss to check, but i think it'd be neat to see it ... just for looks..

 

I agree, hope somebody can figure out a way to do it..

 

I went through the HELMS schematics, so I do know how to mod this ... but this needs ECU wires patching... I do not want to do it on my car.

 

where do you get the schematic of the eletrical wiring?

Maybe it can not be done as esay I thought....

But on the other hand, I am now looking into another interesting Mod... Holding the first gear in SS mode!
