I almost garentee the the spring on the buttery's is not pulling hard enough.
i took apart the imrc and the little wheel is locking up when it gets open.
i'm going to trying to cut some of that spring to release some tension.
then i will try to delete it totally.
lets see if i can fix it.

 

simple test would be hold rpms above the 3800 or what ever threshold ... then while maintaining this pull the harness clip to the IMRC if it closes its the switch

 

The tech at msd said they don't make a switch that will work how I want.
He said he is going to find out if he can have a tech make something to work for me.
I find it weird that people say it will work and msd tech says they don't have anything that will.

 

i always figured you'd wanna use an aPEXi vtec controler for this app but why dont you try what i said get under the hood maintain 4K then pull the harness
