My Xephyr Review
Well.... put the ol' CAI in today. Install was okay except for two points.
1. Removing the resonator box is a major pain! (Bolts from underneath)
2. Fastening the "J" hook to hold the tube in place.
I found pix of what had been done and they helped but I still haven't securely fastened the "J" hook. If anyone has any hints, please let me know. Either respond here or to my e-mail (flemingm@sharpsec.com).
My highly tweaked "Butt Dyno" (thanks Crippen) says there is some good stuff happening under the hood and it's faster. How much? I have no clue but it sounds great and I like it.

Hey, if you can pull that off with only an intake, you'll be the next poster boy for Xephyr!

I bet he starts stealing yellow stickers off rice burners since they steal our TypeS letters.
You know, since yellow stickers = +hp, we might as well get them where it hurts.
Yellow is the key to 13s.

I had a problem with the J-hook too, but what I did was attach the clamp that goes with the J-hook around the rubber tube and the CAI, instead of the CAI, and I made sure to tighten it really well. Now nothing moves, the CAI stays in place and there is no rubbing going on. Hope that helps.

Good idea. You must have used the bigger clamp right? The extra one that goes around the throttle body if you so choose?

Actually, I didn't get an extra clamp to put around the throttle body, I just have that original ring holding the CAI to the throttle body. So I'm not sure if it's the larger clamp.
