Is my tranny dying?????

Last night when I was coming home, I was at idle at the light. I pressed on the gas, and all of a sudden my emergency brake light came on, and then turned off. It keeps doing this now. I also hear some clicking coming from the tranny, when I press on the gas. I'm not punching the gas or anything, just driving normal.

Is the tranny slipping at all? What about the VSA light coming on? Check engine light? In all the tranny posts I've read, I've never heard anything about the e-brake light.

None of those things, just the brake light.

that clicking thing when you accelerate i think is normal. Mine does that and that is what everyone said when I asked about it.

Low on Brake Fluid most likely, and the ABS might be freaking out. Not the tranny.

Doesn't sounds like a tranny issue to me either...

Ill check my fluid and see whats up. Why would the ebrake brake light go on, instead of the other one?

If your brake fluid is low, the light will start to come on. When you get on the car the fluid is slushing, so its making it come on and off right now. I don't see it related to the tranny though.
