A while ago I posted that my left light was out while my right and fogs were fuctioning normally. Well yesterday at LAX the left went out again in the parking lot as I was leaving. I turned them off and immediately turned them back on and mysteriously the left light functioned again. Going down the 105 I noticed that the left light was out again. I turned off/turned on and it was fine again. Well, I guess its another trip to the dealership . Anybody have any ideas what the problem could be??? Any help is greatly appreciated...

Btw, does Tustin Acura give out loaner cars and how is service there?

 

Are you taliking about the HID lamp? If so, then it sounds like you need your ballast replaced.

If it's the lower bullshit "fogs" that is common. EVERY cl-s I see has one burned out. Just get PIAA or POLARG!

 

Take a look at the connectors that go to the low beam I have seen on a few occasions that the wiring going to these parts is not fully seated in the plastic connector housings allowing this intermittent light/no light situation to occur.Ideally you should let the dealer look at this since it is presumeably under warranty and there are some circuits there that carry very high voltages and should not be messed with unless you really know what you are doing.Jens

The problem it turns out is the invertor (wtf is that...any help? Jens?). Kinda pissed of though, Tustin Acura shipped me off to Enterprise where I got last years bottom of the line Toyota Corolla . Pretty damn shitty for a 'luxury' brand. I should have my car back by tomarrow hopefully...

 

Yeah, that's bullshit....Ed Napleton acura in chicago got me a freakin chevy metro as a loaner a few times...wtf is that? So now I go to another dealer who gets me a TL as a loaner...
