He was thinking about getting rid of the CLK 55 because the new ones will be out soon.........and god forbid he has an "outdated car" I suggested a Viper or something like that, and he wasn't thrilled, but then we cam across the Aston Martin website....does anyone know anything about these cars........PRICING

Def not in the 80k range for an aston BUT u have some decent choices..

A Porsche Carrera.

A BMW 7

AN M5

The S500

Put in 4-8k and get the Masserati

What else....
Jaguar XJR supercharged.

Others might add some more.

Fully loaded Lexus LS 430 wouldn't be a bad choice.

Aston Martins are well above 100K ans some are even 250K!

I'll personally wash his car if he were to get something like that!

I have four suggestions:

1. Wait for the new BMW M5.

2. A fully loaded Lexus LS430, which is one of the most comfortable sedans in the world.

3. A fully loaded Infiniti M45, I assume it will cost "only" $55,000.

4. Jaguar S-Type R.

i dont know whether to feel sorry for ur dad cos he's got so many damn good choices or.....umm... nm i dont mention it

But i'd kill for a clk55... i originally wanted to get the clk430 but the interior is nasty and overly complicated

You wont find a new SL500 anywhere near 80k. Try finding a RS6.....they are only importing something like 1200. What kind of car does he want??? If he wants a sedan....wait until the new A8 comes out.

Depends if he wants sporty or luxurious.

The RS6 will be the ultimate combination of both.

The new 7 is butt ugly IMO, I'd take the S500 over it any day.

Jaguar is a Ford now so screw the XK8.

LS430 is the ultimate in decadent luxury.

Some nice choices there and I wouldn't exclude the Q45 either.

Best choice of all would be a nice G35 coupe and give $45k to charity

The RS6 is an awesome car, your just going to have a hard time getting your hands on one if you havent pre-ordered it.

What about a Z06??? People on here will say they arent good daily drivers, but they really are. Go test drive one, even if he doesnt like it they are fun to burn rubber in. I ripped the rear end loose shifting into 3rd, which I didnt expect to happen.

The C6??

Another model you can look at is the Cadillac XLR. It has a 310 hp northstar engine with RWD and a 5 speed auto(same one as in BMWs). It shares a platform with the C6 Corvette, so it should handle very well. It is coming out pretty soon, not sure though

how could u have that kind of money and not have a deposit on a NEW MB E55..

new E-class body with a supercharged V8 producing 476hp ...cant go wrong.

Go test drive a E500 and then u will no doubt be sold on a E55...

0-60 in 4.6 seconds.

Are you talking about Continental Autosports by 294? Those guys are so full of themselves over there. I bet if Nicks dad pulls up with his CLK55 they will ignore him.

Not true. The Z06 is a great car for what it is. It isnt a luxury car, but a sports car. No Benz made is a sports car. A good friend of mine just bought a Z06 because he was so impressed with it. In the past he has owned Porsches, BMWs, MBs, and a Ferrari. This is one of his favorite cars he has owned over the years.

Definately have him look that the New E500 or E55. If he's into trucks check out the X5 4.6.

Does he want to stay with a coupe or is he open to SUV's and sedans??
