my car tops out at 100mph

when im driving and i want 2 go faster den 100 mph i step on the gas all the way 2 the flroo and it wont go above 100 mph dose any one know why it dose that ?

Makes no sense.... you should be going 149 mph before you top off....

push clutch in and put the stick into fourth gear.............J/K

This is a difficult situation because its hard to go to the dealer and say that your car won't top 100mph

I just tried it and my car will not go over a 100 mph, if I leave the emgency brake on. As soon as I disengaged it the car went right up to 149mph. :-)

OK... I'm closing this... this genious posted the same thing 4 times today.. and even with replies in other forums, still posted this here.

You got your answers in several forums... if you're still having a problem I suggest bringing your car to an Acura dealer.
