I am planning on doing the lip kit when I can track one down for a decent price.

Not a fan of TE-37s? I guess it's not for everyone. I personally love 'em. So easy to clean compared to all the two-three piece mesh wheels I've had in the past.

Awesome ride Brian and info. I'm in the same boat as cl-01texboy, just picked up an '03 cls 6spd and am itching to get working on it. Definitely trickier to find stuff for than my Accord was.

Get a different car! You can do the typical BMW M5 lip spoiler, get a roof spoiler, put in fogs, change wheels, paint calipers, debadge/paint badges, put on TL body kit, swap out for LED lights inside, make some angel eyes, cold air intake, Comptech off ebay... headers, exhaust, icebox, etc... not many options for the CL. Good to be handy with tools and have an eye for design or lots of cash to pay someone.

Oh and for 6 speed get a Neuspeed short shift adapter if you can find one! Swap out rear brake light on OEM spoiler for clear one... someone did that was a motorcycle part or something...

What about these performance chips I see all over ebay?...are they worth buying and do they really give you any noticable differences, also will a chip require any reprograming on my part or is that a plug and play kinda deal?

no. those are a scam. the only chip that was ever proven was the unichip and to my understanding is now discontinued.

The CL was never availiable in Japan, so any Mugen part that fits is either for an Accord or TL.
