Momo Gear Shift Knobs

Has anyone replaced their stock knobs with Momo's? Is it easy to take our gear shift knob and replace it with Momos? I'm thinking of buy one online but don't know if you need an adapter kit or something....

eh, I didn't replace mine with a Momo, but I put a cheap OBX shift knob. U just twist the old one off and thats about it.

It should come with the right pieces to fit the car.

this similar topic has been posted a few times already.. and someone even post some photo of momo shift knobs on the cl-s..but what most cl-s owners feel is..they prefer the stock shift knob.. like me do... stock one is pretty cool..and fit.to the car... especailly the type s mark on the shift knob..

Hi,

Do you literally grab the shift knob and rotate CCW? I'm going to replace mine with the Momo Cobra Carbon/Aluminum shift knob. Sucks to get rid of the Type S symbol, but I already pulled it off of my trunk anyways. =P

I did. I hated the square feel of the stock. The Momo is simple to put on and I like the feel alot better than stock...

I say do it...

I think that was my bad. I am trying to find info on replacing my shift knob, and this was the only thread I could find.

Can anyone tell me if it's as simple as rotating the shift knob counterclockwise?

TIA,
Dave

YES, it is that simple!!

No other tricks or hidden screws.

Lefty loosy, righty tighty!!!

That's how my dad taught me loosen and tighten screws when I was a kid!!!

Thanks for the tip! By the way, your car looks really nice. My car looks lame cuz I don't have lowering springs, yet. But at least I'll have gain another 50WHP once I add my shift knob and Comptech oil cap.
