Have you wondered how many times you were actually saved and how many times you just got lucky?

I've gotten hit first thing with instant on many times while speeding, brake and slow down, and just drive thru a speed trap wondering why I didn't get caught. I know I must have been clocked speeding, perhaps waiting for a bigger fish?

luckily when ever it was instant on there was always someone in front of me so he would zap them first and i'd slow down

I drove my wife's truck today and noticed two things.

Everytime the radar detector went off (a 3 year old cobra model) I looked at the thing wanting to know from which direction. Funny, I didn't think I cared about that V1 directional feature - I guess I do. It also alerted to the standard falses much later than the V1 (responded to falses earlier...is that a good thing?)

The other thing was that I kept turning on the cruise control (steering wheel mounted) thinking I was turning the volume up. LOL!

I thought the direction indicators on the V1 were kind of bogus until I got one for Christmas. Yesterday I picked up a parked cruiser about a mile before his "hilltop hideaway" and grinned as the arrow went from front to middle to behind as I passed him. Rear sensitivity is great because I had him a mile up the road too.

V1 is a religion, and I'm a believer.

When I was new to the V1 arrows, I thought they were bogus too. With the numerous amount of falses in the city, they still don't work well. But on the open highway...well let's just say the arrows are fun.
