Thats exactly what I was thinking. Last I heard, JDM only made stuff for the L and just started making stuff for the 03 Cobra. Also, a 3.5 c/b would hurt more than help unless you have a turbo or a supercharger.

you dont believe an 01 cobra with high flow bassani x pipe, and one of the best cat backs on the market, and a cold air in the fender doesnt make 304? i put down 280/289 bone stock. 24rwhp more from those mods is not hard to believe. go back to svtperformance and read up on the magnaflow and catted x pipe combo. everyone is bringing 20-25hp at the tires from just that, which means i prob only got 2hp from the cold air. ask anyone on the forums there what their power is from similar mods. here is site on this subject

Now we're just an Acura CL...hate to break it to you 330, but the 1996-1998 Mustangs sucked, you may have done some mods to yours, but come on...they put like 175whp stock, or at least the one from HP TV did, then they put exhaust, intake, and throttle body on it and it only put 202whp....besides, i would like to catch yours on the highway, just for a friendly fun run

I don't race on the street anymore, but if we did race, I guarantee you wouldn't be able to hang. You would use your whole bottle trying to keep up and the minute the pressure drops, you might as well of put it in reverse.

I'm about 2 weeks away from hitting high 12s and another couple months or so to getting low 12s. All on stock suspension and street tires. So if any S. Cal CL guys want to race, let me know the track, except Irwindale b/c I work nights.

I also beat a newer model cobra. We were at a signal, when the lights turned green we both took off. He was still spinning after my almost perfect launch. I was about 1.5 car lengths ahead of him going into 2nd, then all of a sudden he pulled about a half length ahead of me. (Damn that shit caught up fast) After shifting in 3rd I pulled a half length in front of him and then he slowed down to make a left ahead. I was madd confused & shocked I won. Maybe the convertible cobra was a fakie, but it sounded mean as hell. I don't give a shit because I won!

Pure Adrenaline is 100% correct. This is especially true when it comes to Mustangs. Most Stang owners ( including myself- up untill about 3 weeks ago) modify the car to make it as fast as possible w/o doing the necessary suspension and tire upgrades. The end result is a car with an good amount of hp that can only put on a good burn out show. Basically, if you can't put it to the ground then what good is having the power?

As for the 2001 Cobra with the nitrous I would think you would need some serious suspension work or at the very least 315 Nitto or BFG drag radials to race anyone on the street w/o killing yourself.
