I was impressed with the marauder. Driving down a 4 lane today a marauder comes up from behind me. Our first was from about 50. not a good speed for the 5AT. pulled on him in vtec. second was at a light. i had him by about 2 cars midway through second and shut it down. we talked for a couple of minutes he was impressed with the cl and i was impressed with the marauder. Pretty quick i though for as heavy as they look.

 

eh, 50mph not good? that's perfect for a 5AT. good job nevertheless.

 

yep. second and third gears are the optimal gears for our tuna boat. and 50 mph is when 2nd pulls the hardest since in vtec.

mike, i think you should go to the meet. we've gotta hang out some day. and i bet Niteqwill is going to show with the first RonJon CL kit.

maybe i was driving closer to 60, either way when i got on it from 60 it i think it only dropped to third, b/c that should've put me in vtec in second right? but my rpm's were like at 4k

 

60 about sounds about right. if you started off in 3rd ~60 that's pretty impressive.
