Love my cls......but

Im seriously considering taking advantage of the 0% financing and trading her in on a 2002 Z06...
I mean, I love my CLS but by the time I throw in another 10k for better wheels, tires, shocks, supercharger, tranny... I figure I might as well just buy a better car. I would like to get a new M3 but the interest free financing from GM is making the Z06 look pretty good....

Just trying to figure out how much money I am going to lose on the cls, and if I need that back seat...

Even with a super-charger, headers, spring, sways, and all the mods you can throw at it, a CL-S still would not even in your wildest dreams come close to the feel or performance of a Z-06. I say go for it, if that's what you're looking for.

Sure you'll get tired of no back seat, but you will have a lot of fun in the mean time.

How fast is the S4 with the chip upgrades and does anyone know of a good sight to do research on it?

Not fast enough and when it breaks from the high boost, it's expensive to fix.

www.goapr.com if you want to look into S4 mods anyway.

Before I got my CL-s I was thinking about 330Ci, S4, IS300 and I have done a lot of reading on those. Not to offend anyone but Edmunds.com had one comment on it that made my decision much easier:
"Well positioned, we would say. With its blend of effortless power, supreme grip, and decent ride quality, it makes a great choice for those looking for something a little more refined than your average boy-racer hot rod. The quality of the interior never leaves you with the feeling that you gave up something in return for the extra ponies under the hood, and the classic shape avoids the "midlife" crisis look of a sports car . Features editor Miles Cook summed up the S4 best in his post-drive notes: "Think about it...twin-turbos, AWD, a six-gear transmission, 250 hp, sumptuous cabin, 17-inch wheels, killer brakes...for 40 grand!? A bargain.""
Basically it is saying that S4 is a really great car but does not have the looks to support its sporting inside..

Go for a Vette, or a Porsche Boxter.. Even the base model does 0-60 in 6.3 sescs..
Just my 2 cents..

Car and Driver just tested it against the 330ix and the WRX and it came out on top. 0-60 in 5.5 and really pulling all the way to its top end. My guess with chip and other mods into the upper 4s. They just love the precision handling and how easy it is to drive fast.
