Lost a door sill today!
I have some custom "Acura Cl Type-S" aluminum door sills for my car, and the passenger side one got so loose from a combination of the cold weather here, poor adhesion and road vibration, that it literally fell through underneath the door and on the street somewhere in DC! There went $32.50 right out the door. Oh well, if I had knew what a pain they were anyway, I would never have got them. I learned my lesson the hard way!
I like mine. They look good I think if you have the brushed aluminum interior. I think they would look silly if you have to the wood interior or at the very least you don't have the ebony interior color. Mine seem to be sticking pretty well but they have only been there a week so far. Did you clean the part of the door where you stick them with some strong cleanser or alcohol before you stuck them down? I didn't bother to heat up the tape but I heard that helps too.

Damn.. It is really that bad??
I got them about a month ago, but due to bad weather, I decided to wait until spring to install them.. but I guess after hearing what everyone is saying about it.. I think I just threw $80 out the window.
Damn again..

door sills don't work on these cars very well, to that interior plastic part they don’t adhere, and to the lower body panel they will be seen when the door is closed
I gave up on the idea.
