Looking into getting another CL need help

I haven't been on the forums for a whilez but now I need my fellow member's help again. I'm trying to get a 2003 CL-S 6spd and I suppose the miles on the car are flexible unless there's something I should know about with the 6spd. I'm in no rush so I have time to shop around. On my way to work I keep passing this dealership that has a 2003 CLS 6spd in black with black interior and the problem is it has 137k miles....the guy is asking 14k and i wonder if I could get the price lowered would that be a decent buy or should I shop around more? The car's interior is flawless from any rips but minor wear from sitting. Other than that it looks fine to me. I even test drove the car myself and it felt fine. Could someone possibly do a carfax for me on this car? 19UYA416X3A000940

Oh yeah which reminds me who's car is this in the lot too? Cause it's got ronjon rims on it and it's also forsale.

I personally wouldn't buy one with 137k miles for 14k, unless you can get some kind of warranty coverage. that's a lot of miles in a short time. even so, clutch replacement wouldn't be covered anyway. but I'm not sure of your budget or priorities.
I've got 33k miles on mine and about 9 months of warranty left.

137K miles & it's priced at 14K? That's nuts. A real world value would be closer to $10K, Maybe less. It's an 03 yes, but that much milage really takes a hit in price. How long have you seen it sitting there? If it's been a while you may be able to get it down to the 10K or below range You have to figure in a new clutch, plus any maintance that it needs. Plugs, tune up, timing belt etc. That's really it for the 6mt needs. The tranny who really knows. There's only 2-3 Ive seen with over 120K miles on a 6MT. You have to figure the tranny will need some attention at some point over 150K miles.
I'd keep searching for something with a lot less miles. They are out there.

offer the dealer $100 more than trade in value. i usually buy cars from auction that go for close to trade in value. then it is between $100 and $200 for auction fee.

10K tops... maybe...

One member here got a 6spd w/ 92K miles for 13K IIRC...

But, I'm sure when I've got that many miles on mine, and I'm trying to sell it, I'll price it at 14K too

Seems like a great price... If I didn't already have a 6spd, I'd be tempted

Have you advertised the autotrader, craigslist, etc. ??

It is ?? Heck, I might buy it so I can get 30mpg and 579 miles on a tankfull of gas

Y2K3CL did mention getting the 90K mile service done in the above thread, so the price on that one should be in the low teens too...

Navi part is easy enough to fix especially with the price as low as it is. Miles....well...its been really fun to drive....hard to NOT drive this car!

Looking at it again, maybe not. His was lowered and had a mesh grill.

His is the only Antrhacite CL-S 6 Speed in the SEPA area with RonJon Servos that I know of though.

I got my Anthracite 6-sp with 47K miles for $15K. No way the price should be over $10K.

How about a bone stock 6sp; silver w/ black interior; 102K; always run with Mobil 1; new brakes & plugs (timing belt not done yet) for 15K? Also in MD.
