Cool Long time, no post!

What's going on guys... good to see a few familiar usernames posting on here.

Just thought I'd say hi. As you probably know, I turned over to the dark side. My Z06 is everything I thought it would be, and then some.

I was at work today and saw an Anthracite CLS-6 (no spoiler) and it reminded me how nice and clean these cars look. Also reminded me of this board, so here I am.

I still miss my CLS-6, it was the 2nd best car I ever owned. Loved the Icebox sound, the LSD feel in the turns, the peak torque @ 35-55K rpm and the sound of the stock tires fighting for their life during 1st/2nd gear WOT stunts. Oh and how could I forget the feel of the shifter!

I sold it with brand new 235/45/17 Exclaim UHP's, and they made the car handle/accelerate so much better. Its new owner got a really good deal on a very clean car. I kind of always wondered if he made it to this board. I did recommend it to him!

Anyhow, just saying hi.

I might just get another CLS-6 as a daily driver..

LMFAO.

You guys crack me up!

Yeah I had the Exclaim UHP's on the stock rims in 235/45/17 sizes, as recommended by many members on this board. They fit just fine, have twice the grip of the stock tires, and cost about a third of the price. Can't go wrong. The tires in the CL pic are stock. I had the UHP's installed a few days after that pic was taken.

As for power, it's addictive, and VERY easy to get used to. It used to scare the crap out of me when I first got it; now I'm contemplating what mods to do for next summer to make it faster.

As for the sidewalk, lol, no I don't own it. Just a coincidence that I'm on a sidewalk in all the pics!

Hi,, if I didn't have to drive 100 miles rt daily I would have a vette,, I still need 200k mile long term reliability. I am now looking at the 2.2 honda tubo diesel in Europe,, read 65 mpg's,, still the vette with the not offered 6 speed autotranny (Not a z06 option yet) is on my top 10 list.
