LIST ALL YOUR KILLS (WINS) and your losses to if you want

probably yes but you not gonna feel that kick the TQ is so constant till the redline and there is no "audible crack" but this is the power i like and i would not complain at all to have it as DD

You seem to have a worse attitude than a lot of the BMW people I've encountered. Besides we know all guidos drive cadillacs and mercedes
I really don't hear the "civic" trait ur talking about. My own car sounds much worse lol.

To me it resembles the sound of a civic with a fart can lol

This is neither a kill or a loss, I guess and it does'nt happen very often.

I had an encounter with a 4.6 V8 Mustang on the way home from Costco the other day. I was in traffic on a two lane divided hwy in the rear of a bunch of cars stopped at a light. I hear the guy in his flowmasters blipping the gas enjoying his mufflers up ahead somewhere. Finally, the light turns green and as traffic pulls away I can hear that he has a manual tranny. So, as we proceed through a few more lights and traffic thins out, I finally get to pull up in back of said Mustang in preparation for a merge onto a one lane road. There is a car in front of him, so he can't pull out quick. Instead, what he does is he pauses at the stop for a few seconds to let the car in front of him pull away a bit. Well I'm in back of him wondering why he's not pulling away from the stop. (He probably saw my pillar guage pod) Then suddenly, he lights up the tires and goes through first and second real quick before he is back on the tail of the car in front of him. I'm like OK. We finally get to the end of the road we are on and he pulls into the left turn lane at the light. I'm still in back of him because the road we are pulling onto after the turn, onece again, is still a one laner. Meanwhile, he's blipping the gas and we're both hearing the sweet sound of those flowmasters waiting for the turn light.
Well I know the match is on; however, the best I can do is stay on his rear because of the one lane road we're traveling on. I figure he's going to pull through the turn light in first grear, shift into second for a bit and then punch it thinking he was going to smoke this Acura and leave me behind. However, to his surprise, his little strategy was the roll I needed that left me at the slight upper end of second gear. Alas, he does exactly what I thought and dumps it in second. Well, again, to his surprise, this Acura is right on his tail through second and that sweet third gear pull that seems to go on forever. I caught him looking in the rear view mirror a few times. I guess he was expecting me to not be there. It would of been nice to do this from a roll on a two laner to see how I would of fared. Oh well.

Nice, you would have beat him bad if there was room for you guys to be side by side.

Here're some 6MT TL kills; mods in sig.
AP2 S2000...he had a passenger, me solo, but I pulled enough to negate his weight advantage from a dig to 100 and 50-100. A few cars each time.
'03 Altima V6 5AT with Stromung exhaust, CAI, 60 ish to 100 ish, maybe 4 cars?
e46 330i, 60-100 ish, he was WAY back there.
Ion Redline, kept fart canning me and trying to get me to run in town; got to the last light before the highway and just played him down, jumped him on green, but it didn't matter. Let off at 100 ish with him 7-8 cars back, then he does the ricer flyby, waving at me out the window. Guess he didn't see my brake lights and my car nose diving.
Some cocky, older guy in a cherry mid 60's Chevelle with way more bark than bite. Top of second, low 50's IIRC to me letting off at 110 ish. He gave up around 85 and I just added insult to injury by staying on it.
A 4 cyl Altima S. He never got the memo his car traps around 85 mph.
Hyundai Tiburon, older style, he thought he's impress his GF on the last light and I just let him go, but a few miles later I got bored and decided to let him know his V6 puts out less than most modern 4 cylinders. I know he hit it, but his car still didn't really move.
Another random Tiburon.
Some random Grand Am GT.
Some random Integra (This was the only run I was bone stock, except for Stage 3 exhaust)
A V6 GTI, 45-75. Left him hard and then he pulled off.
Some '94-01 Dodge Ram reg cab. Yeah, I was REALLY bored.
Late model Civic SI with full bolt ons. Two 45 or 50 rolls. Pulled a few carlengths through the top of third. Ran into him the next day and the kid was all down, saying he has his life savings into the car, only to get beaten by a TL. I'm guessing he'd had some good luck with stock automatic TL's. Anyway, this time we go from a dig and it's pretty much dead even until I get into second. I started pulling away ~50.
I saved my favorite for last: Just minding my own business at a light when a modded Chevy Crew Cab Duramax pulls up next to me. Don't think much about it until I start to take off and I hear his turbo spool up and he starts blowing black smoke all over the place. I hit it ~10 mph and manage to pull him pretty hard to 90 when I let off for my exit. I'm thinking it would've been much closer if he didn't have a 4 wheeler in the bed...LOL.
That's all I can think of right now. No losses as of yet, but that's because I only run those who draw first blood. I've never instigated a race since I've owned the TL. Just goes to show ya, most of the guys out there, running around trying to race everyone don't even really have very quick cars.

Damn, how'd I forget the bone stock '05 TL 6MT? Two runs, 40-80, I pulled a car length each time. Extrapolating from that, I'd say my car would be roughly 2.5 lengths ahead over a full quarter mile, 0-100. I trapped 99.5 with intake/catback, so after the pulley/J Pipe/3rd cat delete, I'm probably 100-101. Seems about right, as I'm probably mid 240's on a Dynojet. HFC and P/P on the intake/runners this winter should put me ~260.

Took down a 3G TL. I think it was a 6MT. I gave him the jump getting onto the highway and then proceeded to put 4-4.5 cars on him from 60-100. Wouldve been more had I not given him a head start
