I just got the crank pulley installed with the needed belts but they said it was a pretty tight fit. And now ONLY when its cold and I start the engine it theres a loud noise coming from where the pulley is, not to mention theres a slight knocking. But then warms up and dosnt do it anymore! Big differance in power though!!

*Could it just be new belts???

*Can anyone help me, I dont want to make problems worse???

Is it exspensive to replace the engine bearing if that goes out??????????

 

which setup did you get? Did you try loosening the belt?

 

The bomz racing pulley... It works great besides that noise thats scaring me...

Sounds to me like it needs to be tightened, not loosened. Sounds typical of a loose belt.

Yeah its weird, she just makes that noise when its cold, but the power that it released is not huge but its noticable...II just hope nothing is wrong

 

tighten your belt, and check to see if your auto tensioner is faulty so you can get it replaced if needed. call your dealership and give them your VIN: they'll let you know.
