let me ask you guys a question....

I dont plan on ridding myself of the Type-S cause I really think it is a well rounded vehicle...Just left the honda dealership and they had a yellow S2000 with a conv. hard top...the car has 4,700 miles on it...very clean, very nice....selling for $36,800....I think the new ones are selling for around $43,000....very interested in purchasing it but will still keep the Type S ....what do u guys think....should I wait for a better deal, should I wait? fair price??

id say do some research, cuz there is no way a s2000 goes for 43,000. Id say buy it if you can find it for sticker which is like 33k, most i have seen them going for is 36k So there is no reason you have to pay 36k for a USED one!! Go find a brand new one for 33k or a little less!!!! DO SOME RESEARCH ON WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.

thanks for the response guys....went to the s2000 forum and got some much needed info.... gonna tell the dealership tomorrow that I dont want to pay more than $34K for a brand new one....They have a list of dealers on that forum that sell at MSRP or slightly above...nothing dramatic...the closest one that is listed is about 100 miles from me but if thats the case then I will drive that far to save $$$...once again thanks

My cousin just bought a S2000 here in the bay area (and I think we are the most espensive of any metro in the US) and he paid 38K out the door and this was a brand new S2000. He got it in july.
