Finally got rid of my 03 CL-S6. Traded it in, got the amount I asked for and bought something decent in its place. Thanks for all the help from everyone along the way...you guys/girls have been great. C-ya

15K for a CL6spd w/ 78K miles ?? Sound like about what I expected when I bought my car... at 50K now, so I've still got another couple of years before I sell...
What did you get to replace it ??

I traded it in at Tate Chrysler Frederick. Got a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. Have pics and will post later. I got $12k as a trade amount, but I beat them down $3g on the price of the Explorer....so--it all worked out. Thanks again to everyone!

Explorer was 10, I got it down to 6700. Pics are on the way---they are saved at home, and I am at work...havent had a chance to photobucket them yet. I had 80k on an 03 CL-S6. I didnt get a lot but I got what I needed to accomplish what I was trying to accomplish. Check out KBB and Edmunds and NADA---CL's hold their value but not as much as you'd think. $12k was the best I could get in my area....I tried a ton of places even a few outside my area, and $12k was the most anyone would say.

It hurts to let go of the CL for a Ford. But at the same time...I needed to make some changes so I could better handle things; therefore, the CL being my most liquid asset, it went and I had to start over. I am sure y'all understand.

21.5K for a 6spd ?? Sure it's got 39K miles on it, but it's probably not worth more then 18K on a private sale...

16,750 for that on w/ 59K miles... More like it, but still having trouble selling...
We've had members who have bought high mileage 6spds for under 14K, so I can't see any 01 or 02's selling for more than 14K...
Can't figure out how this guy got 16K for his 01... only 36K miles.... but that's a dealer price for a private sale. Must have found some one who wanted a PDG w/ navi, price was no object.

I might just end up keeping mine, as it'll be a $14-15K car w/ 75K miles on it in a couple of years...

I figured pricing mine about $4500 under what the avg market price was would help....but people are always looking for the bigger better deal ( me included) so $14K for someone's used car can seem a little high. Anyways...it was fun owning the CL and getting tips and advise from those who cared enough to share.

When I'm ready to sell, or trade, my car won't be worth anything above 10k with all the mods I have and want to do with it.

And I completely agree with that last statement.

But the more I see about values, the more I think that I'll just keep mine...
