Keyfob + key Combo

I noticed the new TL's have an intergrated key and fob. Does anyone know if they will work on our 01-03 CL-S's?

I have both 03 CL and 08 TL and I was told no it wouldn't by the dealer for what its worth. I know that dealers aren't always right.

Tell me about it! The dealer also said the key fob for an '01CL would not work with an 02-03 CL and we know that isn't true. I was just wondering if anyone had tried or knew of someone who has done this.

FCC # is different. 03 CL fob won't even work with 03 TL fob.

FCC# is also different on the 01 and 02cl by 1 number 443H vs 444H, yet it works. There is got to be more to it than FCC# not matching. However, I must also say that those numbers represent the frequency at which they operate. It could be that the 01 and 02cl's freq are so close or within each others band that they work. On the other hand, the 03' TL and 03' CL may differ greatly.

That I didn't know but I know when I tried to use a TL fob it didn't work and some guy on here was trying to get the Accord key to work with the CL (it worked with the TSX) but the FCC # was different.

I suppose if you took a TL key and changed the chips in it you could get it to work. Get out your handy Radio Shack kit and make it work!

Also, ALL 03CL & 03TL key fobs are interchangeable. Not sure where you guys are getting your bad info from.
I am using a key fob from an 03 TL now.

CL6 seems to think they are not interchangeable. I am receiving my 444H remote this week in the mail for my... 443H '01-cl. Can't wait! I have no remote presently.
