2001 to 2003 Headlights
2001 to 2003 Headlights
uhhh...where can i get some dark smoked out headlights for my 2001 CLS?????!
ok just kidding, I bought some, and i searched but couldnt quite find what i was looking for...
Is there anything I need when I'll be doing the swap? I know I'll be removing the bumper, but I've heard it mentioned a few times that for the taillights we need a different harness, is there anything different needed for the headlights to fit and hook up properly? Thanks guys

The head lights are plug n' play just as Big Lizard said.
All you need to do is swap over the HID ballasts and you DO need to remove the bumper.
The tails do need two things:
Amber bulbs for the turn signals and the socket for that bulb.
If you search the forum you can find the part # for the bulb but the part # for the socket didn't produce a result....just tell them you need the socket for the turn signals.
I have mine rigged with tape as some others have done but that is just a temporary fix.
According to my research...you need to get the correct socket to avoid further issues.
