Best order to start in terms of cash flow.
1.) Crank Pulley
2.) Cold Air Intake
3.) Sway Bars
4.) Comptech Headers (Only because I want quality, if you want XS headers, this might be your first mod)
5.) Springs/Shocks
6.) Rims
7.) Rotora Rotors (Once the ones you have on warp)

Have fun and use the search button or else many of the people on here will just ignore your posts.

All those things are extra...
Since he is 17, I figured he didn't have the money for the excess mods.
I have the Strut Bar and to be honest, I don't notice much of a difference with it on or off.
The TB spacers, I got those also and I really don't notice a difference with those either.
As for a chamber kit, it would all depend on which drop he went with, he might not even need it.

Whatever you do, if you are serious about modding your car, don't go out and get some horsepower upgrades and then go get some heavy ass 19 inch rims. Then you just defeated the purpose of your other mods.

Since he is 17, his parents probably bought the car...
So, it's probably not his money he is going to spend on mods...

I like pits' list but I would do a different order...

5 (always first and foremost  )
2
4 (staight to XS Power for me)
1
6 (maybe)
7 (only if necessary)
3 (delete unless tracking the car)

Oh, and I always tint the windows.

Word to the wise... Don't stray off the beaten path with parts by companies that haven't been discussed here or parts by companies that people say aren't any good. If they haven't been discussed or they have been bashed, there's probably a good reason for it. Example... Don't be the guy that goes out and buys a CAI made by Clarion because you want to be different and because no one else has one. No one has one for a reason (aside from the fact Clarion doesn't make CAI's ). The aftermarket support for the CL is very, very minimal. Sometimes you have to get creative and this website is a great tool for ideas. Start here https://acurazine.com/forums/search.php. Almost everything you can think of to do to your CL has been done or discussed here at some point if not many, many times. If you run into any snags feel free to PM any of the veteran members for any help you might need, thats why we're here. Just remember, I believe it was mr. steve who recently said to a new member... "don't reinvent the wheel". Perfect analogy.

Good luck.

Really good advice. I made this mistake when I went for the Weapon-R intake. For just a little more $$$ I could've had the CT icebox or AEM CAI and saved myself a lot of time and grief.

It would be interesting to see what everyones opinion is in terms of mod order. In all honesty, the list I gave to the guy isn't even the order I went in or the order I would go in if I had to remod my car. My order of mods were like this:
35% tint would have been first, but my car came tinted.

1.) Comptech Icebox
2.) Sways ( You really think this is only for track use. I think this might be the best single mod)
3.) Thermoblok spacers
4.) Springs and Shocks (Tokico Illuminas and HR OE)
5.) Comptech Headers
6.) Tranny Cooler
7.) UR Crank Pulley
8.) Rotora Rotors after warpage of originals

I would love to see how everyone else orders their mods. But after learning what I learned, I would definitely switch up the order that I bough things.

The only car I have done this to was my Impreza I had a few years ago. It was a great mod but it was also the wagon style impreza. I felt like the CL handled just fine once it was dropped on the H&R springs only. I mean, leagally, you can only push it so hard and I guess considering it's more of a FWD luxury cruiser, I never saw the need.

You must have taken your crazy pills this morning. It's ok, I won't hold it against you.

Just kidding, to each his own.

You should really think about dropping your jeep, putting on some 20's, and slapping on some sways.

Damage sounds monor. I got rear-ended and there was close to $6000 in damages. No salvage for me though.

Good luck with it.

The car doesn't look that bad, there shouldn't be much work into fixing that.

As for the first pic on that page it looks like you are going to have to put some long hours in to fix that up.

Just joking around, good luck with the fix.
