I have a clp and spraying 100shot. I started at 65shot,as soon as the bottle was empty went to 100 but I don't recomend going higher than that without a tune and more fuel.

Auto tranny holding up to all that additional power? I'd be scared out of my mind to spray with all those tranny issues stock.

I know people who ran 75 dry. I wouldn't go over that to be safe without some sort of tuning.

Trans has never sliped on the spray.
My car trans only ever slipped once.
I was spinning tires and went from dry to wet to dry.bbut thats it.
I think the ecu just did'nt know how to react.

Get the zex dry kit it does everything for you.
No need to adjust seprate seilnoids.you put jets in and thats it once it's programed. Also start at the 65 shot.
I sprayed it back to back, light to light till it was gone and no issue's.
The 65shot will probally be about 50hp.

I was spraying my tl-s with a 100 shot dry, engine fine, trans not so good, went on the dyno, let it rip in 3rd gear and well, that was the end of my 3rd gear. But I've been racing my tl with nitrous for over a year and it was all good.

this is new.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ZEX-8...Q5fAccessories

Start looking into putting one together. here's one I found real quick.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Zex-D...Q5fAccessories Ask him if it has the nossle and jets.
It looks like it has the long line and the short line atleast. If it dont have nossel and jets you can get both for about 15 bucks or so.Then you will have a kit. fill the bottle and have fun for cheap dough.

If you are worried keep it at a 75 shot and under.
You will bring a smile to your face from the first time you activate it,"Promise".Also you will be wondering why you did'nt get it sooner.

What is the difference between dry and wet nos? Which is preferred, and what company is preferred?

Wet mixes with the nitrous and fuel when sprayed out of the nozzle. Dry just sprays nitrous out of the nozzle.

And really 75 shot on up you need to run a cooler plug like 1-2 degrees cooler.

in a nut shell:
1)dry shot is pure N20 from the bottle w/ no additional fuel
2)wet shot runs a second fuel delivery solenoid (most times from the fuel line) to mix w/ the n20 as it goes into the intake

dry shot is wayyy easier to set up, for the wet you have to tap the fuel line and run a second solenoid. worst car i ever set up was an IS350 (fucking spaceship) but in my experience, wet shot is better performing, and better for the motor.

wet shot is safer in my opinon too.You can always add the needed fuel but,I think its more of a PITA too, always adjusting solenoids every time you change jets.
dry is definitly for the noob nos user.

125 wet shot for about 4-5 yrs? On my 3.0 and on this 3.5

You don't even need a tune. Just colder plugs and high octane gas to help prevent for detonation (i'm running 1 degree cooler, but 116 octane alcohol). Don't use it in overdrive gears either. Don't abuse it. Do that, and you'll be just fine.

I've been wanting a direct port since I ever started using nitrous. Don't have a clue why I've never done it. It is great as it evely distributes the nitrous in all cylinders compared to the typical case of running it through the intake/throttle body.

Just want to add something for the OP, if you tune it just remember you don't run the car on nitrous 24/7. Therefore you have to get something that would allow you to have 2 fuel maps, 1 on the bottle and 1 off the bottle.

that is what i always thought and it be if you could get the engine cover back on, and it basically be direct port (cause it is not spraying directly onto the valves but close enough
