damn...i think we started a war....hopefully next weekend in ATL, we'll put these feuds to an end....I'll admit, a turbo IS will walk us anyday, but damn its pushing over 100hp more to the wheels, so why shouldnt it? Anyways, im hoping they will show up next weekend, so we can have some fun

thats cool. Hey, when you get warranty work done, is it easy to take out the bottles? I think there was a discussion a while back about the detectability of nitros.
BTW whats your 1/4 with the 75 shot of [s]ex?

I love the CL-S but the IS300 is alright personally if I was looking for a new "reasonably priced"(under 40 grand with tax and everything ) tear up the drag strip i'd rank like this
#1. WRX sti(i know it's not out for another 3-4 months)
#2. CL-S
#4.Maxima
#5. VW GTi
#6. find if any left (i doubt it) 02 Camero SS
i think in '05 ( i think that's when they are gonna "redesign the CL") the CL will be OFF THE HOOK

Considering all the big claims made these past few days, here's a friendly challenge for those of you in SoCal:

Suffice it to say, I'm a *little* skeptical of how supposedly just springs/sways on a CL can overcome the laws of physics. And as much as some guys like to dwell on living life one quarter mile at a time, you can't get anywhere without turns.
The choice of playing with many turns interspersed with a few straights (autocross) or playing with straights interspersed with turns (track day) is up to you. Let's make this convenient, fun, and educational, shall we?

my 1/4 sucked b/c of traction problems...i ran a 14.0 @ 107mph!!!...my trap is good enough for low 13's to high 12's...and if my friend ever gets our video up.....you'll see that i handed Fastvteccl (13.6@106) his ass on the street....so i need to work on the traction and hopefully i can be the first CL in the 12's....but then again it could be wishful thinking

Question on your setup zootking. Where did you connect the dry hose to the CAI? Did you connect it near the filter head? Or more towards the throttle body?
Ed...its setup underneath the intake closer to the throttle body....out of site to most who dont know what to look for (ie:dealerships
)
