Cool,
That what I call a good service. Ryan from Injen CAI called to disscus the problem I had with my CAI. This iguy was so nice and spent quite a time to learn what was my problem and to suggest a solution.
Nice customer service indeed.

I have a Polished Injen CAI. I am a happy customer.
However, I have small issue, the front hose does not clear the hood when closed. The front hose was spliced when I shut the hood hard. I had an easy fix, cut it short 1 inch, re-plugged.... now back as new. No problem. All in all, I need to be very careful when I close the hood.
If I will ever have this problem again with the front hose, I will email Injen to ship me a replacement hose/CAI under Injen CAI lifetime warrantee.
Also, my hood liner got a bit damaged when it hit the front hose/CAI connecter, but I can shut my eyes at this for now.
Did you have any problem like this one? Do you have any recommendations how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

. I also mentioned again.
He said to go with what I suggested: "twisting the CAI tube counter-clock-wise to lower the "nipple" of the front hose a bit".

Hey Nashua:
I've got my Xephyr Performance CAI shipping
this Saturday. Maybe we can meet at NE
Dragway one of these Wed. nights for a
friendly run. After that I'd like to
dust a few stangs.

Hi Nashua:
I won't have my Xephyr Performance CAI installed until 4/10 so I'll shoot for Wed. 4/14 knowing that the weather should still be in the 40's.
One buddy has the V8 Mustang. My other buddy has the Porsche boxster so I'd love to take on the "S" model on the strip also.
I'll be in touch.

I am planning to go to the drag strip. The problem with the dyno is that there is no one I can find within 95 miles! If you can help me find one that's great.
