info needed on colored calipers

I really dont know much about brake systems. My 03 typeS brake system is stock. Im putting wheels on my car this spring- I cant afford a BBK now, but for the mean time I want my calipers to be red. I do not want to paint them because they fade too fast and I do not want to maintain them.
Are there such things as covers that would look something like Rotora's? (I want that bold color). I dont know my cheap options, could someone help me out...

Powder coat them.

It isn't cheap though, and unless you have a spare set of calipers, your car will probably be down a few days while they get done.

Just paint them with some high temp ceramic spary paint. I did that to mine.
Or some brake caliper paint in spray cans, or get the kit that uses a brush.
Also I would only paint them black. The stock calipers are very ugly things. Having that bright red will not look nice. Black will look alot better. Mine are black.

And puleeease don't paint them red. It's not a BBK, don't pretend it is.

Gloss/flat black or silver looks very nice.

IMO, if you don't have a BBK, then painting them any flashy color looks tacky. I would go with black, gray or maybe silver.

I don't even like Red for a BBK. Too flashy.

Silver>*

you guys are right. If everything goes according to plans and I buy a BBK kit hopefully by the end of this summer, then there is no need to touch the stock brakes now.

the last thing im looking for is a cheap look

I wouldn't worry about the paint fading. I have a black caliper paint kit sitting in my gargae right now... No time to do it though. I agree with everyone else, black or silver only.
