Im sick of my car

I want my truck back. i've only had my car now sense december and am already tried of driving it. I want my Toyota Truck back, infact, i want the Tundra. cars are just not as fun as a fast truck can be. Does anyone agree with me or feel my pain? I feel like i have made the wrong decision with this car?(being a car that is, not being Acura)

Nick....

in case I haven't mentioned this lately.... YOU'RE INSANE!!!!

I'm definitely not a truck person though... I despise them. They're slow, they handle poorly, ride poorly, get bad gas mileage etc etc etc. I can appreciate a good truck... like the Tundra V8.... but then I just think... man... gimme that engine in a CAR that weighs 700 lbs less! To paraphrase Mazda.... zoom zoom

Some guys are truck people, some guys are car people. I have been thru both and I like cars... Fiance has a brand new Z71 so we have the best of both worlds.

Buy the new GMC Sierra C3 and put on the Ligenfelter SC kit. All wheel drive and 0-60 time faster than any corvette they have ever tested, minus the Z-06. (4.7 seconds) It also has the quickest 30-50 mph they have even tested in an auto besides a Porsche 911 turbo.

The whole setup should cost about 55K but can you imagine such a pimp truck running 13.0 second quarter mile faster than a new vette?

Drag racers (or non-racing people)like trucks because they are practical. But once you get to the twisties, nothing beats a nice sport car.

I hear you, man. Cars are fun, but isn't it nice being able to go up a parking lot ramp at 50mph?! I love the clearance of a truck - can't quite make that U turn, no prob, just hop up on the curb a little! Did that with my CLS and hurt the rims :-(
I still like mine, but I do miss my Toyota - got better gas mileage too!

Get a new '02 Ford SVT Lightning (might even be '01). The thing has 380hp/450torque and hauls ass.

In addition to my CL-S, I also have a 99 Dakota (5.2L w/5spd manual) . I've had a car and truck for years. I think if I only had one or the other exclusively it would be pretty boring. There are times I just need to get in my truck and go where cars can only dream of going.

I know what you mean. In addition to the CLS, I have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew 4X4 Lariat (5.4L - 260hp, 350 lbs of torque).

Once you own a truck, you cannot imagine how you ever got by without one.

I'm with you man, I want a Tundra too. Cars are less practical if you like to have fun. My CLS is great but I cant take it snowboarding. I can't take it on a Mexico trip - heck, I can't even take my friends for a ride cause the rear tires rub. Whenever I go through water or dirt or something I cringe, I hate the way I have to baby this car. As soon as I get to a point where I have some equity, I'm out and into a Tundra. Let the good times begin...again.
