Both are exactly 8" high whan standing on flange

 

One bank should be tilted a little forward, and the other almost straight up when viewed from the side.

 

lay head flange flat on table,,, the rear header's flange will lay flat,,, THATS THE REAR ONE<<<< the front flange won't lay flat because the bends will make the bottom downpipe flange hit the table and the head flange will stick up... THATS THE FRONT ONE

As state above, the front and rear headers are similar but not identical.

In case you got 2 of the same, let me know, we will ship you the replacement. I am sorry, the packagers at the warehouse did not know that there is difference between front and rear and some shippment get mixed up.

Nashua..I recieved my new header replacements...it was very obvious that I had two rears and needed a front (which when compared standing up..the FRONT flange that contacts w/ the engine (3 ports) tilts downward while the rear ones I had already faced straight outward

 

that ronald mcdonald bucket is crazy old man. Brought back some memories damn.

I would like to ask those who shipped directly to Swain Tech to make sure that swain got the correct headers, if not let me know and we ship them the correct headers.

Nashua..just to confirmm..I DO have correct headers? Do I ship old ones back to SSAutochrome?

 

Please do so. Ship it back to the return address on the box of the replacement headers. If you want till installation is done. That is fine too, as long as the installation is soon.
