Weird Front End Noise When I First Get Moving

Okay...whenever I first get moving from having the car turned off for an hour or so...I get a moaning type noise...not a vibration, or grinding noise...just like a moan. It comes from the front end of the car. It is louder if the car has been sitting for a longer amount of time. And sometimes happens twice if its been sitting over night. It happens within the 1st 30 seconds of driving...and at very low speeds...under 10 mph. Any ideas?

It's the Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) pump. It stores pressure for when the ABS kicks in. If you hit the brakes on a real slippery surface you will hear the same noise as the pump will start working as the ABS uses up the pressure.

Okay...I was wondering because it is kind of loud...and I didn't notice it until after I got my rotors resurfaced.
