I left my lights on again!!!

I left my lights on again!!!
I drove home from work tonight, hopped out of the car, and as I was walking away from the car I point my fob behind me and click the lock button. (as I always do).
Later I get a knock on my door and my neighbor informs me that my car is sitting outside with its lights on and the door unlocked. I walk outside and ..... oh yeah, I drove the Taurus home today. DUH!!
This almost always happens when I drive the taurus now. Luckily someone has always caught me before I drained my battery. :p

Sometimes when I park my Audi, I kick the floor trying to engage the parking break!!! I used to have an Audi and a VW, so the controls were very similar. Now, with the Acura, it is sometimes a pain when I switch up cars a lot!
