I've looked everywhere to see if anyone wanted to talk about the same thing on the forum. Forgive me if it was already discussed.

Whenever I'm about to pull off from being in park, I hear this 1 second humming noise from the front of the car. I hear the sound 2 times, and then it stops. Can anyone explain to me what exactly that is. I was thinking it may be VSA just activating and preparing itself for the trip.

 

its the ABS check, car will do it everytime you drive. normal. nothing is wrong.

Yeah, I just found this out myself. Been scared to death that it was a transmission problem.

 

I have the same thing. Good to know there's nothing wrong

 

its probably a good thing you have the same noise or else your ABS isnt working...

 

i always wondered what the hell that "wheeer-wheeer"...sound was...now i know..lol..i love this site...

I ha that in my integra aswell, its not so loud in my cl.. but as soon as I drive off it makes a "wheeer-wheeer" as FUKUPAYMEE stated.
